Autobiography of the John Lomax, who collected cowboy and western songs in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Many of us have heard of his son, Alan Lomax, who did much the same work for folk and blues songs in the 20th century.
Hardcover red boards with black pictorial drawing of a Guitar in the front cover and black lettering on the spine. Slight fading on back board cover. Binding tight, text unmarked and clean.
DJ is in fair condition, with a vertical damp stain on inside back cover. Chipping along top margin and closed tears. One open tear on top of spine. Not price clipped. Mylar protected
