A very good set, the bindings square and firm, rubbing and bumping to the spine ends, some mottling to the cloth boards. Contents clean and bright throughout, mottling to the top edge of the text block on both volumes. Complete with near fine dustwrappers, toned to the spines and around the panel edges. "A classic of whaling history and adventure and also a pioneering scientific study of polar regions" - from the publishers blurb.
