Description:
This books collects together all of the radiological plates made of the New Kingdom pharaohs and queens. An interdisciplinary team worked on the project the results of which, published in this volume, included information on health, disease, ages of death, causes of death, and how the bodies were mummified. Included in the book are 13 tables, 143 photographs, 299 radiographs and computer tracings, and 57 colour slides in five sets of microfiches. Chapters in the text include discussions of dentistry, medicine, and genealogies, amongst other topics.
This books is in Fine condition. The five microfiches are present in the back pocket. The dust jacket is taped to the book with masking tape, but is otherwise also in Fine condition.
