Fordingbridge: Castle Hill Press, 2010. First Edition. Fine. 8vo., pictorial endpapers. Copy 426 of a total edition of 475 of which 250 were bound in cloth. The Castle Hill Press edition contains the complete uncensored text of the 1928 edition with new material selected by Jeremy and Nicole Wilson from Lawrence's later writings about service life. Fine, tight clean copy in clear protective cover with satin ribbon bookmark. Autobiographical account of Lawrence's experiences in the R.A.F. following the first World War when he joined under an assumed name. Published posthumously per T.E.L.'s instructions.Given the frankness of his observations, the 1955 trade edition was expunged with the limited edition containing the full, uncensored text. Note from the colophon: "The text of Lawrence's 1928 manuscript of 'The Mint' was first printed by Doubleday, Doran in 1936 in an edition of 50 copies to secure American copyright when the manuscript was sold."

(1902-1908). Each 6.8 x 25.8 cm (2½ x 10½"). Each numbered and captioned (in French) on the glass. Edges protected with paper tape. In period wooden box without its lid, and other defects. A few scratches and smudges to images, paper protecting tape torn and chipped in places. Charming hand-painted slides depicting the story of Aladdin and his magical lamp, titled La Lampe Merveilleuse. Only one other set is known to exist, and it is incomplete (missing Slide 12); the other set is held in Girona's Museu de Cinema, which makes this set of slides the only extant copy in private hands (REFERENCE: Lucerna). The multi-scene panoramic slides were created by French magic lantern manufacturers Lapierre et Cie, and the slides would have likely been sold alongside the familys noteworthy magic lanterns, which were particularly marketed for families and educating children (REFERENCE: Lucerna).
