Description:
A New Path to the Waterfall was the eleventh collection of poetry by Raymond Carver, the respected American writer of poetry and short fiction. Completed shortly before his death, it includes many poems that had not been previously published. His approaching death seems to have inspired a reflection on life that is presented in the fifty poems contained in this work. Including an introduction by Tess Gallagher, Carver's companion and ultimately wife to whom the poems are dedicated, this work is a poetic summary of the life and work of a great American writer.
This volume is in near fine condition with a dust jacket in Good condition. The dust jacket is price clipped, and there is some wear to the edges and a tear on the front of the dust jacket. There is also an old price sticker on the back of the dust jacket.
