Rutgers University Press, 1963. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Tight book, lightly bumped corners, gift inscription on back of front cover; dj has some wear to edges but looks pretty in a protective sleeve.

Exterior shows moderate sunning/lightening to top edges of covers, with part of title text visible from bleed-through. Bottom edges of covers show a couple very small spots of shelf wear down to boards. Dust jacket included: shows mild age-tanning, with mild rippling and some very small closed tears to top edge of dust jacket. Inner flaps show light creasing to upper corners.

U.S.A.: W.H.Freeman & Co Ltd, 1981. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 494 pages of very clean, bright, and tightly bound text. Exterior shows some light abrasions and shelf wear, with mild bumping to the ends of the spine, and a small torn patch over the ISBN on the rear cover (from an improperly removed price sticker). Issued with no dust jacket.

Ex-library copy with small stamps to front end page and title page; library pocket has been carefully removed, leaving minimal residue. Moderate shelf rubbing/wear to exterior, with tanning/toning to spine and some small discolorations to covers.

D. Appleton and Company, 1895. Hardcover. Good. It appears that the half-title page is missing as I'm seeing remnants of it but o/w the book is tight and solid with some fading at the hinges and edges.
