Large 4to, 11 pages of text and charts, 35 full page colored maps, the last double-truck. Cover states the atlas is "designed to accompany Colton's American School Geography". The covers are soiled with shallow loss head of spine. Insides shows little if any signs of use. Rear cover is a publisher list titled at top "The American Educational Series" Original owner's name in florid contemporary script dated 1865 on the ffe. A solid, unsophisticated copy.
