1989. Hardcover. Book is in nearly perfect condition. No flaws that I can detect. Dust jacket has one or two little insignificant dings (less than 1/8” and almost unnoticeable). Plastic “obi”-strip that wraps around book has average wear from being removed. Cardboard list of illustrations has a small wrinkle (no crease or tear). Outer box shows average minor shelf wear.

1952. Hardcover. Book is in nice shape with clean bright pages, free of any tears, marks, or creases. Binding is tight. Dust jacket shows some general wear with minor wrinkling/tiny rips along the upper and lower edges, but significant sun-yellowing along the spine and surrounding areas.

1935. Hardcover. No dust jacket. Book is in solid shape, with with general foxing and handling wear.

1947. Paperback. Book is solid with no rips, marks, or folds to pages. Technically a paperback, the cover is moderately rigid... but flexible and has a dust jacket. Dust jacket is still covered with original glassine (like wax paper) protective sleeve, which has a few small rips. Dust jacket itself is solid except for a few dings at the top/bottom of the spine.

1950. Hardcover. Book is in good shape; dust jacket has a few small dings and rips and a little discoloration. It's intact but imperfect.
