"The Ginger Man" by J.P. Donleavy. Published in softback by Olympia Press in 1955. First Edition. 353pp. The book is in Very Good condition for its age. The covers are very clean. The side and lower edge blocks are clean while the top edge block has a foxing-like speckling that does not extend onto any page of text (see scan). The "Francs: 1.500" on the rear is not crossed out, as so often seen. Internally the volume is very clean and looks largely unread. It is inscription and annotation free. The book is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. A very nice example of this important 20thC novel. Any questions, please just ask.

Description:
"The Ginger Man" by J.P. Donleavy. Published in softback by the Olympia Press in 1960. Second softback edition. 323pp. The book is in Good overall condition for its age. The binding is tight although the spine is cocked and there is a marked shelf lean present (see scan). The spine area has curved inwards from the book being bent backwards and has strongly faded from sunning. There is a short diagonal crease across the bottom of the rear cover and a couple of numbers written in pen on the same cover (see scans). Internally the book is very clean and inscription free. The page edge blocks are quite strongly tanned from age. The book is now housed in a smart-looking, individual removable plastic casing. Any questions, please just ask.
