Four suits (clubs, diamonds, hearts and spades) of 13 cards (with the fact of each suit printed in a different monochrome color), two jokers and one introductory card. Also a small folded sheet titled "East Africa invites you!" and is dated March, 1957. The sheet, printed on one side, includes a tourist-oriented color map of Kenya, Tanganyika and Uganda and some text by V. M. Mohindra who writes as if he was responsible for this set of photo-illustrated cards. Our publication information is found on the front of the four of clubs which also has an indistinct purple export stamp. The back of these cards has a color illustration of a Maasai warrior in mortal combat with a lion. The intact but somewhat worn card holding these cards and the folded insert box is covered with what appears to be thin blue suede clothe. The cards are almost as new.
