Joseph Blagrave - Blagrave's Introduction to Astrology, in Three Parts - London, E. Tyler and R. Holt, for Obadiah Blagrave, 1682 - First Edition - Hardcover - 329pp - 10x18 cm
Condition Good: Frontispiece missing, probably rebound, name inside and some inscriptions at front and back, minor worming at upper inner margin. Otherwise the book is remarkably clean and fresh inside, all pages clean without notes or remarks and the binding is solid. The book is protected by a custom-made, gilt titled cloth box.
This posthumous book (published by his nephew) is the final work written by Blagrave who had a profound belief in the virtues of astrology. He has published several scientific books and other works as early as 1658.
