The boards only have one defect, the top 1/4 inch edge of the spine is faded. The dust jacket, now in a new Brodart cover, has edge wear and some loss of paper. Not price clipped ($4.00).

The front and back paper hinges have been repaired. The printed boards are rubbed and soiled but 100% legible. The spine is green cloth. SCARCE GOOD++

New York: American Bible Society, 1897. Hardcover. Very Good. 3 1/4 x 4 3/4. 405 pages with red page edges. Owners neat name in pencil dated 1899. Maroon embossed cloth boards with gilt "Testament" on the spine and "New Testament" blind stamped on the front. Some fading to the color . NOT bumped, rubbed or soiled.

Chicago: M. A. Donohue & Company. Hardcover. Good. 4 1/2 x 7. Red leather, swede, over boards. Leather rubbed from top front board outer corner and spine (top base and front hinge). All edges gilt in good condition. Clean unmarked pages but the title and page before it have some red on front margin. Spine fragil.

Clean unmarked book but it contains a pasted ownership document on ffep which states "Gourgas Lodge of Perfection - Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in the Valley of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.......used at the initiation to the degreees of the Scottish Rite in the Lodge of Perfection of Brother 'Robert G. Kirchner.....November 15, 1921". contains 12 MAPS " Indexed Atlas to the Holy Bible" at the end of the book.
