Overall, this is a near fine copy of an exceedingly rare title.The author was arguably the foremost scholar on dinosaurs in the period and the publication of this title cements that claim. The Dinosaurs helped to shape the public perception of the extinct reptiles, but his ideas of dinosaur anatomy, ecology and systematics were soon phased out.
