Like many of poetry's best practitioners, Mackey's work demonstrates a fluency of how much cargo language can hold that make it no surprise he would breeze effortlessly back and forth through the artificial borders of genre. They question the foundational aspects of the democratic system with the imaginary building blocks of the vote as the main character, "...They can go to hell with their elections! I want to learn more of anarchism!" Well-written by Italian anarchist and globe-trotting propagandist Errico Malatesta.
