I have available Leaving Cheyenne by Larry McMurtry. This book was published in 1963 by Harper &Row and is a first edition. The book is in good condition with the following flaws. There are ghost tape marks to the front and rear boards, there are tape stains to the front free end page. The last free end page has a water mark along the top and it looks like something was removed from this page. The back boards have the ghost tape marks along with a water mark along the top left hand corner. The book is bound tight with no writing inside. The jacket is in very condition with minimal wear with the exception of it being price clipped. The corrected price of 495 is present along the bottom of imthe inside flap.
im offering this book considering the flaws for just $200.

I have available a first edition/first printing copy of James Michener's Pulitzer Prize winning novel, Tales of the South Pacific. This book was published in 1947 by Macmillon and bears the words "first edition " on the copyright page. The dust jacket bears the correct price of $3.00 in the correct first state position (vertically towards the top of the inside flap).
The book is bound tight and is in good condition. There is some soiling , please see photos. The dust jacket is in poor condition with several portions missing and the back of the jacket has tape (I'm assuming to hold part of it together).
I would venture that this book could be a good candidate for restoration. I'm pricing it at just $150.00.
