E.T. - The Extra-Terrestrial was a 1982 American science fiction film produced & directed by Steven Spielberg for Universal Studios. In 1994, the film was added to the U.S. National Film Registry of the Library of Congress & deemed as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."
