Wraps are toned at edges, with a little shelf-soil showing on back panel, but little wear. What looks to be the original price tag ("5.00") on front cover.

Otherwise a solid though unattractive copy with tight binding and square, uncreased spine. Pencil marks corner inside front cover. Significant wear to covers, with a light splash-mark on the spine. A few tiny spots first few pages. Covers and page-edges sunned.

Says "Available online in full color" but it's unclear from the UC website whether you have to buy the eBook ($65) to get access to the color plates. The B&W reproductions in this book are serviceable but not fantastic. A solid copy with tight binding and square, uncreased spine. No marks to text. Looks like it may have once beloned to an academic departmental library: nothing on the spine, but something on the title page has been blotted out with marker and covered by a label; there is also a marker line along the top edge; and there's a spot on the back cover where the laminate has lifted where a label was removed. Some corner wear, otherwise not much cover wear. Some pencil-smudging to page-edges.

Tight bindings with square spines and intact hinges. Small dot labels with pencil notations corner rear flyleaves, but no marks to text. Volume I has faint bumping front corners. Unclipped dustjackets are nearly perfect, with one mild crease and a little surface abrasion.

The "metabook" is present and still attached to the inside back cover (the metabook's staples a rusted). Spine has one light crease but binding is still tight and spine is square. No marks. Light cover wear and a little smudging to page-edges.

Spine slant, but as the signatures are gathered squarely this may be how it came from the binder.. Some moisture and other markings to cloth. Owner's address label and Morgan 3 Wheeler Club label on front free endpaper. Clipped dust-jacket is complete except for small losses at top edge and bottom spine, but front panel has significant water-damage. Small closed tear top edge front. Else shelf-wear (rubbed) and top edge creasing. Contemporary price tag front flap.

I've rated this "Good only" because although it's a solid copy, the fore-edge is stained with a number of small speckles of (perhaps) coffee. Otherwise, it has a tight binding with uncreased spine, and no marks to text. The cover is somewhat worn, with a light crease on the back panel.

Unclipped dustjacket has a spot on front panel where the gloss is rubbed off, else minor rubbing and edgewear, but no chips or tears.
