Intact (detachable) sheet at the back intended for the "borrower" to sign when taking the book. The book is in very good condition with tight binding and no loose pages; minor small folding to some page corners and focal small tearing on corner of one plate; otherwise no other obvious defects. This book was (obviously) not intended for circulation as it describes (with select diagrams) the workings of the earliest U.S. submarine. Scarce.
