"The spectacular new novel of the not-so-beautiful people who go far beyond normal sex for their kicks." A solid copy. One faint crease on the spine but the binding is still very tight. No marks. Hardly any handling wear to the covers, although the covers are rubbed and a little soiled from shelfwear. Some discoloration of and near the spine from the binder's glue showing through the white covers. Tiny scuff-hole front cover (see photo).

Only fair condition, because it appears to have possibly survived a fire: there is a band of darkened cloth at the top of the front cover, some smoky marks at the top of the endpapers and a few pages, and the page-edges are darkened. Front free endpaper separating a little from the text-block. No marks to text. A little wear to the cloth covers, and spine is a bit slanted.

Tight binding with puckering at spine. Erased pencil marks on flyleaf and half-title, but no marks to text. Cloth-covered boards, sewn binding, in dustjacket. Book nearly as new, with firm binding and intact hinges. A few erased pencil marks to front flyleaf, else no marks. Real cloth covers bright and unfaded, with virtually no wear. Unclipped dustjacket has some surface abrasion, but no tears or chips. A little sunning showing at the tops of the flaps.
