Pages 3-6 have separated from binding, but are present. Pages yellowed, mostly along edges. Has some foxing to pages. Flyleafs very tanned. green cloth exteriors. No dustjacket. Chip in spine in the word "agriculture". 1113 pages. 6x9x2" Includes vital agricultural statistics from 1930, when severe drought hit much of the US Great Plains in late summer. It was late enough in season to cause losses, but not yet catastrophic losses. Much of the book is concerned with relatively normal agricultural statistics and concerns like livestock improvement and control of pests, but you can start to see mentions of abandoned farmland and bankruptcies starting to rock the agricultural world that will spread as the Dust Bowl sets in.
