In the 1970's the BBC comedy outfit The Goodies were at least as popular (probably more) as their BBC colleagues the Monty Python team and here we have a lovely copy of their version of the Monty Python Papperbok. Inscribed at the front endpaper "To Graham" and signed by each of the trio. Laminated boards as issued, unpaginated, heavily illustrated, the book has been well-loved and is in VG condition. Bumped at the corners and spine tips, some occasional minor marks internally.

A lovely copy of this very hard-to-find selection of Tove Jansson's illustrations, caricatures and cartoons for the celebrated Finnish satirical magazine GARM. By 1946 Tove Jansson had become the journal's chief illustrator, having been a contributor since her teenage years. Commentary for the illustrations is provided by Erik Kruskopf. pp. 159, including several full-page colour plates. The book and dustjacket are in exceptionally Fine condition. A rare item, much more difficult to find than original issues of Garm itself!
