A poster featuring one of the variations of lineups for the 1994 Lollapalooza tour, including The Breeders, Green Day, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, L7, Boredoms, Stereolab, and The Flaming Lips. VERY GOOD condition. Stored rolled, thus curling when opened. Minor wrinkling and creasing along the edges.

Oblong format. 360 pp. A songster, song book/hymnal containing both religious and secular songs, including many short ones on various cities, towns and states around the United States. Many by composers such as Billings, Holden, Edson, Holyoke, Kimball, Morgan, Wood, Swan and others. Selected and edited by Daniel H. Mansfield, a reverend from Maine, this work 'combined elements of the elite and popular music cultures of his day,' drawing from the 'legacy of Puritan New England,' as well as work from Boston's European movement (Religions of the United States in Practice, Vol. 1 p 96). Red Cloth. 144 pp. A guide to the practice of singing, discussing the steps one should take to become a singer, including teachers, concert hall considerations, the study of vocal works, acting, etc. With a short chapter on tobacco use. Sir Charles Santley was a noted Victorian English opera singer and oratorio, performing in many operas during the mid to late 1800s, as well as performing concerts in England and America. GOOD condition. General fading and uneven darkening to the covers, with rather heavy darkening along the spine. Area of staining, light discoloration to the rear cover along the fore edge. Minor soiling. Some scuffing along the extremities. Interior solid with a few minor pencil underlines. Pages apparently opened a bit roughly, with some chips, minor loss and tearing along the fore edge. Ownership signature present.

All text in German. A cassette zine from Germany, with this number devoted to industrial and noise music. Includes pieces on the groundbreaking and innovative industrial band, Throbbing Gristle, as well as SPK and others. SPK formed in 1978, with members Graeme Revell and Neil Hill influenced by the manifesto of the German Marxist group known by the same acronym that advocated 'turning (mental) illness into a weapon' to combat capitalism (see Wikipedia). VERY GOOD+ condition. Minor fading and wear to the box.

With a beginning section on the principles and methods of barber shop singing.
