He collected material for the U.S. Geological Survey, wrote many scientific papers and in 1938 received an Honorary Master of Science degree from the University of Maine at Orono. Tan paper wrappers are lightly soiled.

This bilingual edition includes the text in French followed by the English translation and a bibliographical note. With original brown slipcase in 2 pieces. Slipcase could be repaired to about very good condition.
