Antiquarian leather boards, leather spine with gilt lettering and gilt bands.
Front and back covers detached, edgeworn throughout. Former owner's modern bookplate on obverse page. Antiquarian signature of original owner on recto page dated 1835.
Binding is still tight, some ink spots in text, general overall age toning and foxing to text.
Illustrated with 119 minature woodcuts. For an antiquarian book, still a very readable copy.
Mylar protected.

Description:
AntiquarianThis is Volume XII only of a 12 volume set published in 1754. Volume XII is 383 pages, the last page is missing.Volume XII contains "Rules the concern all Servants in General", "Letters to and from Dr. Swift" and "The Last Will of Dean Swift". Book condition is fair. The spine has cracked, leaving two halves of the book still bound. Most of the leather on front and back boards has disappeared from wear, and the boards are detached. However, the text and rag paper are in remarkable condition for there age. With age toning throughout, and some staining, the print is completely readable. Only the last page is missing.
