Kennedy on April 9, 1963. The texts of the Act by Congress designating Churchill an Honorary Citizen of the U.S.; President Kennedy’s remarks on the occasion; the Presidential Proclamation and Churchill’s letter to the President in response are reproduced in full. The book measures 2 1⁄4 x 1 1⁄4 inches and is one of 1,000 copies leatherbound in full crimson crushed morocco, all edges gilt, by Sangorski & Sutcliffe. The leather has very nominally darkened, else fine. ACHILLE J. ST. ONGE (1913–1978) was the greatest maker of miniature books in the 20th Century.
