Flap not clipped. Grey cloth covered boards with gold letteriing front and rear. Boards have sharp and clean, bright, very good plus/fine overall. Front pastedown has bubbling tan paper with likewise curling front free end page. Non-authorial gift inscription on title page. Else interior pages clean and unmarked. Tight binding. [80 pages]

Laid in are copies of two newspaper articles about the Yeh-Jau Liu, one from 1987 (Named Citizen of the Year) and an interview done with him in 1991. Also laid in is 'Attachment to Nature and Congeniality in Seclution by Lee Lin-ts'an' a copy of a 3 page typewritten article, translated from Chinese into English by Jackson Z.C. Wu. About the artist is in English, the rest of the publication is in Chinese.

Text, except for the introduction page and two excerpts (one from the White House during Ronald Regan's administration), is in Chinese. Inscribed and SIGNED by Yeh Jau Liu on the introductory page. The covers hav e some rubbins and the perimeters are sun washed. There is light perimeter toning on the interior pages.
