Second edition copy (1936) in wrapper. Gilt embossed lettering to the spine and front board. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece plate and numerous b/w photographic plates and drawings throughout.The cloth at the head and tail is a little turned in. The textblock is very fresh, clean and tight. Dust wrapper is not price clipped and is protected in a fullt reversible plastic sleeve. There is chipping to the head of the spine fo the wrapper fro 1 cm , not affecting the lettering and a chip of 1.5 cm x 1 cm to the tail of the front panel of the wrapper. Some light /slight shelf wear and slightest of chipping to the tail of the spine of the wrapper and a short tear of 0.5 cm to the tail pof the rear panel of the wrapper. The colours of the wrapper are well preserved. A very good plus copy in a good wrapper.
