Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Clipped jacket has light edge-wear with minor tears and chipping. Mild rubbing and marking. Jacket is in removable plastic cover.

1967.First US publiscation by Hastings House, New York.240 pages.9x53/4.Par t of Batsford Britian Series. Ex Steele Memorial Library book, Elmira New York with usual library markings. Card holder has been removed from frep. Book in good condition with blue boards and gold lettering on spine. However there was water in its past and about 1/4 part of the boards are waterstained. Pages are also but n ot nearly as bad. Book was taken care of after getting wet other wise pages would have been rippled. There is only staining and musty smell. Photos and illustrations are still in good condition. DJ ha s color photo of Bainbridge in Wensleydale. ; Book number is SVTV8-54. .
