Heavy tanning to pages with heavier tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Slight dog-eared pages throughout and visible tanning to text block edges. Both hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Boards have visible ink marks, rubbing and edge wear. Moderate bumping to corners and fair crushing to spine ends. Heavier tanning to spine.

The spine is a little discolored. There is sporadic foxing on the early pages, and slightly around the block of the book, but very little in the body of the book, there are other minor age related marks. Very slight toning to prelims, else Fine in a dust jacket with chips at head and tail of spine and top right fore-edge. Only published in England, the collection presents 18 short stories. A worthy copy, despite detracting qualities to dust jacket. Dust jacket is now preserved in a clear, removable archival protector.

THE INSURANCE SALESMAN AND OTHER STORIES, F & F, 1941, first edition., just about fine in vg+ dust-wrapper with some light dust-soil to the dust-wrapper spine. There is no American equivalent of this edition.
