Blue cloth with gilt title on spine, 51 black and white plate illustrations. Boards show shelf wear, edges and corners worn, top six inches of spine loose, spine sunned and repaired with clear book tape to keep loose top of spine in place, one front endpaper missing bottom free corner, well bound and pages in good condition. 160 pages. Although the book is an excellent historical reference, the guidelines remain usefully practical to present day. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg. Signed to front endpaper 'A.T. Scott Jan. 1931.'' with a pencil written note beneath "Alexander T. Scott's copy. A.T. Scott was a colleague of Lutyens" (Unverified). 51 b/w plates. Publishers blue cloth boards with gilt titles to spine. Spine sunned with 2 cm splits to head, rubbing to foot. Boards lightly marked and rubbed with some fading to margins. Boards bowed. Booksellers small label 'John Tiranti & Co, London' [were also architectural publishers] to bottom of front pastedown. Content clean and bright with no markings and no foxing. Not ex-library. 160 pp. 32 x 26 cm. A unique book. All books are individually described. All overseas orders are sent airmail by Royal Mail International Tracked.
