London: Published for John Reeves, Esq., One of the Patentees of the Office of Kings Printer, 1802. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo. VOLUME IV ONLY OF FOUR VOLUME PRINTING OF THE FIRST EDITION, 1802. Contains The New Testament. Full leather in dark blue, cover is heavily ornamented with gilt tooling. Spine is divided by flat, gilt hubs adorned with gilt ornamentation and lettering. All edges gilt. Inner cover edges are decorated with gilt tooling. Endpapers are marbled black and a purplish pink. Textblock is unpaginated, yet denoted by sections and chapters in roman numerals at the top of each page. Copy is lovely, yet shows wear. Occasional annotation in the margins in pencil. Bookplates from previous owners are affixed to the front pastedown. A handwritten, numbered label, presumed from the period, is affixed to the bottom of the spine. Additional photographs available upon request. Full refund if not satisfied.

Oxford: The Clarendon Press, by Bensley, Cooke, and Collingwood, Printers to the University, 1814. Hardcover. Very Good -/No Jacket. Charles Head from the designs of Richard Estall. Hardcover. Bound in lime green linen cloth. Dark brown leather label on spine stamped with gilt lettering and decoration. Beautiful black and white engravings throughout and within introductory pages by illustrator Charles Head. Text is printed in two columns with generous margin space. Cover shows wear with chipping, cracking on the hinges, fading and some staining on the cover, yet are intact. Spine shows sunning and wear. Leaves are yellowed with foxing throughout bear darkened edges, but pages are complete. Several pages show waterstains, although text or illustrations are still legible. In very good condition for circa 1814. Unpaginated. Full refund if not satisfied.
