A Lucky Book Club edition of this very special book for children, illustrated with a fine selection of drawings by Maurice Sendak. The cover is a tan color with green letters and a little boy in red overalls. The background has a little house, 4 trees, a white goose, a crow in a tree, and a flying bird below t he sun, all this is done in the same green as the title. Original price in 1965 - 50 cents also TJ748 book number. Poor Cicero! Nobody wants to hear him play his new tin fiddle. "What good is a tin f i ddle of nobody will listen to it?" he thinks. First edition of one of Sendak's scracest titles. Very good plus copy in rose-colored cloth binding.
