First edition. xi, [3], 418 pp. 8vo., blue cloth stamped in gilt and blind, grey dust jacket printed in blue, scarce, good condition with some small chips and closed tears to edges. Cloth has water stains but no interior damage to text. Ida Tarbell recounts the history of Abraham Lincoln's family for seven generations, beginning with Samuel Lincoln, who emigrated from Hingham, England to "Hingham Plantation" in the American colonies in 1637.
