After college McAfee studied with Taft in Chicago, before moving to Taos in 1928. McAfee has pasted in five small photos of sculptures to pages 15, 372, 469, 537 and a photo of Taft to the Editor's Note page. The dust jacket has a chip to the top of the spine, and shallow chipping to the heel.
