The first 15 pages comprise a narrative poem based upon the "Lentulus Legend." An envoy of Tiberius Caesar, Publius Lentulus was sent by the emperor to investigate the reported miracles being performed by Jesus, of Judea. The following 19 page afterword, the author recounts her investigations into the historical background of the story. Bound in white paper covered boards lettered and decorated in various colors with the designs "raised", color pictorial endpapers. A very nice clean copy with just a bit of foxing or toning to covers, in original glassine with small tears along the edges.

In a Good, original white gift box that has a couple of short tears at the edges and wear to the corners. An attrac tive copy with minor flaws. .
