FIRST AND ONLY EDITION (1955, dated from British Library copy), published by the editors of The Eagle comic, oblong folio, 215 x 365 mm, 8½ x 14½ inches, 12 pages of colour printed card press-out pieces to make 15 models for different tricks, 16 pages of text and instructions including The Ancient Art of Conjuring by C. K. Shaw (1 page), original cloth backed colour illustrated red card covers. Staples rusted slightly, very small grazed area at top edge of upper cover, small 'Best Wishes' sticker over price at lower corner of upper cover, a few rusty marks on lower cover, corners just slightly rubbed, 1 press-out playing card MISSING within (image 3), otherwise all model pages intact and complete. A rare survival as of course most of these were assembled and played with.
