The book has minor soiling covers, slightly faded spine, solid binding, no foxing, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, complete with all photos and map. The book measures 22cm tall x 14cm, and has 311 pages, 16 b/w photos (including 3-page foldout of author's passport), map, index. Adventures of an American from San Francisco who made three journeys to Tibet between 1912, 1918, and 1924, disguised as a beggar. Most notable was his lone trek from Sakar to Nepal then to Gyangtse. Same format/contents as 1st edition but different binding. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
