My research indicates this is a First Edition book - the book has gray cloth covers and the dust jacket is light blue with dark blue lettering. The original price on the DJ flap says $2.00. There are no dates shown but this appear to be the original 1960 printing. The publisher is shown as Pinehurst, N.C.on the title page and Seeman Printery (Durham, NC) on the copyright page. The book is perfectly clean and solid with no soiling, stamps, or edgewear. The prior owner signed their name on the first endpaper - no other signs of age. Pinehurst, N.C. Richard S. Tufts, n.d (but 1960). First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good+. Signed. First printing with no subsequent printings listed on copyright page. Inscribed and SIGNED by Richard S. Tufts on the front endpaper. The volume is lightly edge worn and the text leaves have a touch of age toning. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a sleeve, is rubbed, edgeworn to include front joint chips, has a 1" closed tear on the front panel, and an uneven chip (approximately 1" long by 1/2" deep) on the spine crown extending to the rear panel. The spine is mildly toned.
