Very good. <p>First edition.<p>Inscribed by the author on the half-title and signed "Dotson".<p>Dotson Rader recounts his experiences as a leftist and protester in the sixties. As the decade progressed, he describes himself as becoming a "radical democratic- socialist" who participated in most of the major events of the New Left and antiwar movements. In the early seventies he was overtaken by disillusionment and fatigue and a sense of the failure of ideas, imagination and community action.
