Frederick Warne & Co Ltd, 1944. Hardcover. Good/Acceptable. 1944. Reprinted. 337 pages. Yellow dust jacket over green cloth. Contains black and white photographic plates. Pages and plates are lightly tanned and foxed throughout, heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Light thumb-marking present. Slight cracking to gutters of a few pages. Binding remains firm. Previous owner's inscription to front pastedown and free endpaper. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Mild tanning to spine and edges. Clipped jacket has heavy edge wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Heavy tanning to spine and edges. Scuffing and dark marking overall. Water staining to surfaces.
