In many cases the artwork has outlived the science, but these were collected by a prominent scientific author and journalist. This particular copy has a shelf and edgeworn jacket with tanning and watermark on the inside. It's green cloth boards are lightly sunned at spine and mildly bumped at the corners. The page block is foxed and small nick to page block face. Spine is tight and pages are clean and unmarked throughout. AD. Book Club (BCE/BOMC). Hardcover. Very Good. Used.

DJ has very slight wear to front tips, very tiny tear with slight wear at top front spine indentation, microtears along spine top edge, microtear and micronick at top back edge, microtear at bottom back edge, white portions very slightly and uniformly browned.
