Cloth spine is slightly faded. colour illustrated paper to boards is clean but rubbed to corner and slightly bumped to one corner. Unfortunately one double page has red crayon scribble on. Apart from the occasional finger mark to wide page margins the text is otherwise very clean and bright. Good+, sound copy . Hardback. 1943.
