A VG+ copy in a near fine, price-clipped dust jacket. there is a thin line of dust staining to the bottom edges of the cloth covers. The front blank leaf has a 1 1/2" clip at the top right corner. Slight bow to the book and rubbing to the bottoms of the covers. Small bump to the head of the dust jack et's spine. .

A delightful compendium reproducing 27 little books issued in the first 25 years of the 19th century by John Harris and others for the amusement of children. Coloured illustrations reproduced from the originals. No inscriptions, a very good plus clean crisp copy in VG+ DUSTWRAPPER (dw: not price clipped, 10 mm (½") closed tear at top of spine with minute chip, now repaired on reverse). This copy was a publisher's reject stamped "Damaged" on reverse of title page, the only damage being a few minor dents on lower cover and lower panel of dustwrapper and the tear at the top of the spine of dustwrapper (see images).
