This volume was published separately, as a supplement to the first volume; it consists mainly of additional words of lesser circulation. It includes, for example, under the word "Newtonian", the definition for Newtonian Philosophy: "the doctrine of the Universe and particularly of the heavenly Bodies; their Laws, Affections & c. as delivered by Sir Isaac Newton". 8vo, [800] pp, unpaginated, printed in two columns, woodcut illustrations throughout. Previous owner signature crossed out in ink at the head of the title page. Front end paper clipped top right corner, otherwise bright and clean.
