No tears to maps except for creasing and tiny tears (1/8") along blank edge of Plan of Reliefs and Attack of Lucknow map. Front hinge split at gutter. Some splitting to rear gutter. ; xxvi, [ii], 355 pages + frontis + 5 folding maps + illustrations. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. Owner's signature of "Geo Innes."
