Hardback: beautifully illustrated in colour by the authors, no dj, colour pictorial covers are slightly marked and faded, corners bumped, endpapers foxed plus some internal spots, name on front flyleaf, one page roughly torn out and reinserted with some (now yellowed) sticky tape - narrow missing on top inside edge, still OK. 4to, unpaginated. Lovely story, beautifully illustrated. less than good condition but worth preserving.

Stated 9th printing.
Book is in Good+ condition, with some light edgewear to cover, corners lightly bumped, spine sun faded. Half-title page has a couple of small soil marks near spine. Small tear at bottom edge corners of the title page, and the next two pages.
