Black and white and colour illustrated plates. Noticeable foxing and tanning to pages and plates. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Pencil inscriptions to front free endpaper. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with visible staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft fraying and crushing to ends. Gilt lettering is noticeably darkened.

Whether it contributed to the design of costumes for GWTW, I can't say. Front hinge weak. Light spotting over all. Plunkett's handsome bookplate inside front board and Haywood graceful signature on FFEP, with her request to 'please return'. Original sticker from Hollywood bookshop, Satyr on inside back board.
