Toronto: McClelland & Stuart, 1946. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 234pp. 600g. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering. The boards are are rubbed to edges and spine which has two fade marks. Internally the contents pages are tight and clean. However on the reverse side of the frontispiece, which is the page following the endpaper, a previous owner has placed a dried maple leaf (?) and laid a sheet of non- removable clear plastic over the page They have also cut out the top half of the front free endpaper opoosite to reveal most of the leaf on opening the book. The remaining part of the endpaper facing opposite, has another smaller leaf fixed in place with the same clear plastic sheet, and on the reverse of this writing which read in order from top to bottom.
