From the library of David Herbert Donald , winner of two Politzer Prizes for his biographies of Charles Sumner and Thomas Wolfe and celebrated biographer of Abraham Lincoln . Both hinges are beginning to loosen . The interior is clean , no marks of any kind . The cloth on the boards is clean and bright .

Lovely, tight and square copy in maroon boards. Dust wrapper is lightly soiled with an abrasion to front cover impacting the "N" in Lincoln, tanning to the spine, spine top rubbed. Despite this cataloguing of flaws, the wrapper is about near fine.
