Title continues: Being an Account of the Pre-Historical and Historical Remains of Abeconway and the Neighbourhood. LOWE, antiquary, although best known for his books, published at his own expense, and especially The Heart of Northern Wales , which originally (1911) was intended to be mainly a revised edition of the History of Aberconwy by Robert Williams (1810-1881) (q.v.), but was expanded into a two-volume book, (1912 and 1927) of much wider compass.
